Poultry training was conducted from 21^st to 23^rd December. There were 41 trainees including 5 women. The district Co-operative Bank provides loan for the business after the training. The training provides scientific guidance for selecting the proper breed, food management, vaccination and market mechanism.This results into an increased level of confidence while conducting the business.

The members of the producers' organization have a WhatsApp group. They have an efficient communication for the market mechanism through this group. Each batch has 200 birds. 4 such batches are completed every year. At an average profit of 100 rupees a bird,a profit of 80,000 rupees is certain per year.

Poultry provides excellent quality of fertilizer for organic farming. All this business requires is 300 square foot space for 200 birds and 3 work hours of a man. Many farmers have been accepting and practising it as a profitable supplemenary business.
